Sapphire and Half Coronas from Rocky

Rocky Patel introduces the new Sapphire cigar to international markets. The medium-bodied blend features an oily Mexican San Andrés wrapper and fillers grown on Rocky Patel’s farms in Estelí and Condega, Nicaragua. Patel describes the flavor profile as combining dark chocolate, caramel, coffee and espresso with a lingering sweetness.

The company is also expanding three established lines in Europe with a new Half Corona format, designed for smokers looking for a shorter smoking experience.

The compact size will be available for the Rocky Patel Vintage 1999, featuring a seven-year-old Connecticut Shade wrapper and a creamy, mild profile; the Grand Reserve, a medium-bodied cigar with a Corojo wrapper; and the Vintage 1990, known for its aged Broadleaf wrapper.

All three Half Coronas are being introduced to the European market.
