Mombacho Cigars S.A. Releases Botucal for Germany

Mombacho Cigars S.A. announces its September 2021 release of the German-exclusive cigar, Botucal by Mombacho in partnership with Diplomático Rum. The project, which features the same brand architecture as Diplomático, will be released in three vitolas: Toro 6”x52, Robusto 5”x50, and Petite Corona 4.5”x44, and will feature the Botucal name and logo in 20ct full cedar boxes. The project began with a near three-year process to perfectly pair Diplomático’s Reserva Exclusiva rum with Mombacho Cigars, having launched in 2019. The importance of the project remains in that both companies will be adding a portion of the Botucal by Mombacho line proceeds to the donations made to their respective charities, as has been the pillar of this collaboration. The Botucal line of cigars will be sold exclusively by Mombacho Cigars S.A. German distributor, PasiónPuro, and will be sold in finer retail establishments to be announced, also alongside Diplomático’s Botucal Reserva Exclusiva.
