Landmark Hospitality Launches Stork Club Lounge & Exclusive Cigar

The Stork Club, a name synonymous with high society, elegance, and the golden age of New York City nightlife, was originally founded in 1929 by Sherman Billingsley. Known as the “place to see and be seen,” the club welcomed celebrities, socialites and world leaders, creating a legendary reputation that remains unmatched almost 60 years after the club closed.

Landmark Hospitality has revived the iconic Stork Club name with a modern twist while staying true to its historic roots. The company’s reimagined Stork Club, a new membership experience, offers members unmatched benefits, including unparalleled dining and travel experiences, premier events and entertainment and exclusive partnerships across its portfolio of 15 venues in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Now, Landmark is accentuating its already unrivaled hospitality offerings with the new Stork Club Cigar Club membership program.

Curated by Kingmakers, the Stork Club Cigar lounge membership offers exclusive access across Landmark Hospitality’s four—soon to be five—Stork Club premium cigar lounges. Members enjoy privileges such as private lockers, exclusive pairing events, new cigar releases, monthly cigar allocations and its very own cigar—the Stork Club No. 53—which will anchor the humidors at each Stork Club cigar lounge.

Paying tribute to the original Stork Club’s location on Manhattan’s 53rd Street, the Stork Club No. 53 is an exceptional cigar handcrafted with precision and care at the Kingmakers factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Offered in the Toro vitola (52 x 6), Stork Club No. 53 features a rich Mexican San Andres Maduro wrapper that surrounds rich Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos.

The Stork Club Cigar Club officially launches on Jan. 9, 2025, with a gala event at the new Stork Club Cigar and Whiskey Lounge in the Albion Summit Hotel in Summit, N.J.
