La Casa Del Habano Opens in Bali

La Casa Del Habano Bali officially opened its doors in mid-November following a series of thoughtful events that brought together cigar lovers, local community members, distinguished industry members and international guests to celebrate the shared enjoyment of fine cigars and spirits.

The grand opening on November 15th brought together a wide range of guests, including the Cuban Ambassador to Indonesia Her Excellency Dagmar González Grau and representatives from Pacific Cigar Company Mr. Dag Holmboe and Mr. Gonzalo Elola, who helped celebrate this new chapter for cigar culture in Bali.

“La Casa Del Habano Bali is dedicated to more than just offering a selection of premium cigars,” said Manager Thorne Pendleton. “The shop’s mission is to create a space where the community can come together, learn, and share their passion for cigars. By hosting events like cigar tastings, pairing workshops, and rolling demonstrations, the lounge aims to provide a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone, from first-time cigar smokers to long-time aficionados, can find common ground.”

LCDH Bali greets you with the unmistakable aroma of premium tobacco, an inviting prelude to what lies ahead. As you ascend the stairs to the lounge, the ceiling is entirely adorned with hanging hands of tobacco, as if standing within a secadero, the curing barns where tobacco leaves are carefully aged to perfection.

The space itself reflects a mix of modern comfort and classic Cuban style, with a relaxing indoor lounge and an additional members lounge allowing patrons to socialise or have their privacy in a more intimate setting.

“La Casa Del Habano Bali is honored to be part of Bali’s growing cigar community, and the opening is seen as an opportunity to contribute to the island’s evolving luxury scene in a meaningful way,” said Pendleton. “The focus is not on exclusivity, but on inclusivity—inviting everyone to share in the beauty of fine cigars, the art of pairing, and the joy of learning from each other.”

With its commitment to educating guests and offering a warm, welcoming space, La Casa Del Habano Bali seeks to add something meaningful to Bali’s landscape—a space where all are welcome to learn about, enjoy, and appreciate cigars and spirits in a respectful and inviting way.

Located in the heart of Bali, La Casa Del Habano Bali is a premium cigar lounge that offers a curated selection of fine cigars and spirits in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. As part of the renowned La Casa Del Habano network, the Bali location aims to create an inclusive space where cigar enthusiasts and newcomers alike can learn, connect, and enjoy exceptional cigars and spirits together.
