La Aurora, USA is proud to announce its new distribution partner, Arango Cigar Co. (Arango), one of the Largest Importer/Distributors of Premium Cigars, European Pipes, Pipe Tobacco and Smokers Accessories. Arango boasts over nine decades of experience in the tobacco industry, built on long-lasting relationships and exceptional service. Since 1981, Mike Gold has been President of Arango. Gold also currently serves on the PCA Board, as well as being actively engaged in legislation and taxation issues in the cigar and pipe tobacco arenas, both federally and state-wide.

As a new partner with La Aurora, Arango has brought in a full line of La Aurora cigars to help grow the North Central territory. “With La Aurora having account representation in the southern region, it was important to establish a partnership in the central region with a like-minded group of individuals founded in family,” says Ed McKenna, CEO of La Aurora, USA.
La Aurora, USA was launched April 1, 2023, as the brand’s new distribution company, representing the Dominican Republic’s oldest cigar manufacturer for the US Market. As La Aurora works to grow and build its presence around the country, with a streamlined team, it is operating quite efficiently to ensure all markets are being covered. La Aurora, is leaning on strong partners of the past and excited about new partnerships being built.
The arrangement with Arango brings La Aurora one step closer to fulfilling President Guillermo León’s vision to, “bring the same level of quality that you find in every facet of La Aurora cigars and continue to build long-lasting relationships with retailers and consumers across the states,” as previously stated.
