Kopp Tobaccos Introduces Perdomo Legacy in Germany

Kopp Tobaccos GmbH & Co. KG is introducing the Perdomo Legacy cigar series to the German market. As exclusive distributor, Kopp Tobaccos will make the collection available through German specialist retailers.

The Perdomo Legacy marks a new chapter for the Perdomo family. Developed by Nicholas Perdomo III and dedicated to his father Nick Perdomo Jr. on his 60th birthday, the series combines the family’s established approach to premium tobacco with a new generation of craftsmanship.

The collection comprises three blends: Connecticut, Maduro and Shade Grown. The series uses Nicaraguan tobaccos from Estelí, Condega and the Jalapa Valley, including specially developed Shade Grown tobacco. Selected tobaccos are aged for up to ten years and, depending on the blend, further matured in Bourbon barrels.

PERDOMO LEGACY CONNECTICUT

The Connecticut features an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper combined with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos.

The Maduro features a ten-year-aged Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper that is further matured for at least 14 months in Bourbon barrels.

The Shade Grown blend uses a proprietary hybrid of H-2000 and Cameroon seed, cultivated under shade at Perdomo’s Finca Natalie in Estelí. It is combined with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from Estelí, Condega and Jalapa.
