JR Cigar is adding another offering to its 50th Anniversary lineup. Working closely with Rafael Nodal, Head of Product Capability at Tabacalera USA, and Nicaraguan grower AJ Fernandez, JR Cigar is releasing a new vitola of the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua.
The new vitola uses aged Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos, followed by a flawless Nicaraguan Sumatra wrapper.
The Quattro Nicaragua was previously only available in a box-pressed format .The JR 50th Anniversary edition is a custom-made Parejo (rounded) torpedo version.
“The Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua has been one of my absolute favorite blends I have developed with AJ Fernandez,” says Nodal. “The Quattro line has always been box-pressed, but I asked AJ to make a small number of round cigars that I could enjoy and share with close friends. The resulting cigar turned out to provide an exceptional new experience for an already exceptional blend. I could not think of a more special cigar to use for JR’s 50th Anniversary Quattro Nicaragua than the 2019 Cigar of the Year in this very rare format.”
Offered in a 10-count box, the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua JR 50th is available in one size: 52 X 6 rounded Torpedo. This vitola is a limited edition, with less than 1,000 boxes produced.
Priced at $10.50 per cigar; $105 per box, this cigar will be available June 8, exclusively at www.JRCigars.com.
