The Hoyo de Monterrey Primavera, a cigar marking the Chinese Year of the Ox, is now available in the UK. It is just the second cigar to be officially released by Habanos S.A in celebration of the Chinese New Year, following last year’s Romeo y Julieta Maravillas 8 (Year of the Rat).
These commemorative lacquered boxes each contain 18 cigars that have been dressed with a unique foot band. The cigar measure 6⅝ (167mm) x 48 ring gauge and is known as a Hermosos No.1 in the factories of Cuba. This size was most recently seen as a Limited Edition in 2016 when Montecristo introduced the Dantes.
