Germany’s CSWC Qualification Tournament on March 12th 2016

The 7th edition of the Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC) will be held in the year 2016. The championship in slow smoking will take place on the first weekend of September (September 2nd-4th 2016) in Split, Croatia. Until then several qualification tournaments will decide who may definitely take part in the program free of charge.

The qualification round for Germany will be held on March 12th 2016 in the Duesseldorfer Cigarworld Lounge. The ticket sale has already begun.

It is the first time that the German qualification tournament will take place in Duesseldorf. Marc Benden of the Cigarworld Lounge: “We are very proud that we are able to host this event together with the sponsors Kleinlagel, Royal Danish Cigars, Club Mareva and Scandinavian Tobacco Group. The winner of the German preliminary will receive a spot in the CSWC in Split, as well as the flight and hotel fare.

The Cigar Smoking World Championship was brought into existence by Marko Bilic, founder of the Club Mareva in Split. He has managed to create it into a world-class event in just a few years. For this he was honored with the Cigar Trophy “Ambassador 2015” by the Cigar Journal earlier this year. For more information visit the homepage of the Club Mareva.
