Festival del Habano 2018: Program and Infos

The 20th edition of the annual Habanos festival will give visitors the opportunity to visit tobaccos plantations and factories and be among the first in the world to smoke newly releases Cuban cigars. The details for the festival have now finally been made public. The two main novelties that are expected to be introduced during the festival are the Cohiba Reserva Cosecha 2014 as well as two new sizes within the Partagás Maduro line.

20th Habanos Festival Program Overview

February 26, 2018: Opening of the trade fair at 2pm at the Palacio de Convenciones. Welcome evening with the Cosecha 2014 Cohiba Reserva at the Laguito Protocol Hall starting at 7pm.
February 27, 2018: Visits to tobacco plantations in Vuelta Abajo/Pinar del Rio starting at 7am.
February 28, 2018: International seminar at the Convention Center starting at 9am. Cocktail party at 7pm.
March 1, 2018: Visits to cigar factories from 9 to 12. Internations seminar (Master lectures) from 12:30 to 6pm at the Convention Center. 6pm to 7pm Habanos Moments evening.
March 2, 2018: Finals of the Habanos sommelier contest from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Convention Center. From 12 to 1pm finals of the Habanos World Challenge at the Convention Center. Starting at 7pm gala evening dedicated to the two now vitolas of the Partagas Linea Maduro with humidor auction.

The prices in USD/CUC for the evening are as follows: Welcome evening 350.-, visits to tobacco plantations 85.-, international seminar 400.-, visit to habanos factories 40.-, intermediate evening 500.-, gala evening 700.-. The grand package sums up to 2075.- per participant.
