To celebrate Davidoff of Geneva Asia’s 50 years of Davidoff’s retail presence in Asia, Davidoff of Geneva Asia hosted a celebratory dinner on 28 October 2024 at the prestigious Garden Suite at the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong, where the first Davidoff boutique in Asia opened its doors 50 years ago.
“We are truly honoured and excited to celebrate this incredible 50-year milestone with our most valued partners and customers in Asia and we are committed to continue our mission to delight aficionados with unique brand and unrivalled shopping experiences,” said Laurent de Rougemont, Managing Director of Davidoff of Geneva Asia.
To mark the important anniversary, two exceptional Davidoff limited editions were launched.
The Davidoff of Geneva 50 Years Hong Kong Edition is presented in a white wooden box of ten toro cigars with a lid showing the stunning Hong Kong skyline. Davidoff’s Master Blenders have created this exclusive blend with tobaccos of a combined age of 50 years. The cigars treat aficionados to a one-of-a-kind taste experience where oak wood notes mingle with an overarching sweetness in the form of dark chocolate and liquorice aromas, perfectly capturing the scents and flavours of Hong Kong’s food culture of the 1970’s.
In addition, a beautiful Davidoff Exclusive Asia Travel Retail Edition 2024 will honour the premium cigar retail expertise in Asia. The Asia Travel Retail limited edition contains 10 toro cigars presented in a beautiful white wooden box decorated with the Asian continent map enhancing the international connection and travel aspect. The blend is carefully designed to excel with favoured Davidoff signature complexity and sophistication. With filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, an Ecuadorian binder and a silky Dominican wrapper, the toro cigar delivers rich flavours of fresh spices, cream and dried fruits.
