Cigars For Warriors and Cigars International Announce Donation

Operation: Cigars For Warriors is proud to announce the receipt of a fifth major donation from Cigars International – $40,000 in gift cards to be used by US troops deployed overseas in combat zones. The gift cards will enable recipients to directly purchase cigars and cigar accessories available on the Cigars International website. This donation of gift cards follows donations made for the past two years.

The donation was presented to CFW Chairman and CEO Storm Boen by Steve McDevitt on behalf of Cigars International, who said: “Cigars International is proud to partner with CFW. We hold the organization in high regard and have a great deal of respect for their efforts. Providing this small token of our appreciation does not compare to the sacrifices our deployed service men and women make on behalf of our nation. We wish them health and safety in their deployment.”

Storm Boen, Chairman and CEO of Operation: Cigars for Warriors, said: “Cigars International continues to provide outstanding support for CFW and our mission. On behalf our of our volunteers and the men and women deployed around the world, I want to thank Steve for his commitment and leadership in this ongoing collaboration.”

Operation: Cigars for Warriors is a registered 501(c)3 charity operating nationwide whose mission is to provide premium cigars and cigar accessories to US troops serving in active combat zones. Since 2012, over 1.3 million cigars have been donated to US servicemen and women, in addition to coffee, magazines, cigar lighters and cutters.
