Casa Carrillo Introduces Ascend at 2026 PCA

Casa Carrillo introduces Ascend, a new release that reflects the company’s ongoing dedication to refinement and its commitment to elevating the premium cigar experience.

Guided by one of the few remaining master blenders in the industry, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, Ascend represents Casa Carrillo’s continued dedication to taking the smoking experience to another level.

Crafted at the Casa Carrillo Cigar Factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, Ascend features an Ecuador Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder from Estelí, and Nicaraguan fillers selected for their richness, structure, and layered complexity. The blend was developed to create a smoking experience that evolves gradually, allowing each stage to reveal new dimensions of the tobacco’s character.

Saddle (5 x 50) – $12.75 MSRP
Ridge (6 x 52) – $13.75 MSRP
Peak (6 1/4 x 58) – $14.95 MSRP

“Smokers today have many choices, and we approach that with humility and dedication,” said Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. “Our goal is always to continue refining our craft so that each cigar offers balance, depth, and an experience that develops from beginning to end.”

Ascend takes its place within the Perez-Carrillo Series alongside acclaimed releases like Pledge, Allegiance, La Historia, and Encore—each blend representing a defining chapter in the Carrillo legacy. Where those cigars have earned recognition for their depth, character, and consistency, Ascend builds on that foundation with a focus on progression, offering a more deliberate, evolving experience that reflects the next step in the series’ continued pursuit of excellence.

Casa Carrillo is set to debut Ascend in 20-count boxes at the PCA Convention & International Trade Show in New Orleans. Pre-orders will open during the show, with shipping to retailers scheduled to begin in late May/early June.
