At the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show, United Cigars presented an impressive array of new product releases across its expanding portfolio. Brand representative Oliver Nivaud provided detailed insights into the company’s latest offerings.
Among the highlights were two additions to the popular Firecracker Series: the Micallef Black Firecracker, featuring a San Andrés wrapper and scheduled for release in June, and the El Baton Cameroon Firecracker, made at J.C. Newman’s PENSA factory, arriving in August in a limited run of 10,000 cigars.
Also introduced was a regular production version of the Gold Star line, previously released as a limited edition. Now produced at Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic, the new Gold Star vitolas—Robusto, Toro, and Gordo—combine Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrappers with Dominican and Connecticut Broadleaf fillers, and each cigar is aged for one year prior to distribution.
A centerpiece of the booth was the launch of the Byron 175th Anniversary Humidor, created by Nelson Alfonso of Selected Tobacco. Limited to just 175 numbered units, this collector’s item features premium accessories and a meticulously aged 60-cigar collection representing the Byron Century Blends. The humidor includes hidden compartments, a precision hygrometer, and hand-selected cigars aged for over five years.
