El Centurion H·2K·CT Toro is #8 of Top 25 Cigars of 2016

cj_top25_badge_2016_no8Originally, My Father Cigars’ El Centurion was only meant to be a limited edition. In 2014, the company re-released the brand with a slightly altered blend. And 2015, an interesting version appeared: My Father developed a variation of the Toro and Corona formats that featured an H-2K-CT wrapper (a hybrid tobacco) instead of the original Nicaragua wrapper. “CT” stands for the production location (Connecticut), the “H” for Habanos and refers to the origin of the seed. A truly exciting variation on the El Centurion.

Tasting notes: “This cigar develops full-bodied roasted aromas and is nuttily bitter as well as being sweetish like cinnamon, prunes and raisins. It’s joined by a pleasant pepperiness on the tongue. Harmonious and full-bodied.”
