Three-peat Champion For CSWC Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur witnessed history at The Cigar Smoking World Championship’s Malaysian qualifying event held on Saturday 30th of July. The event at Chime Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel was won by Mr Wilson Lim. The three-peat effort for Lim was achieved with a time of 2 hours, 10 minutes with Lim just falling short of his 2021 record time of 2 hours, 22 minutes and 32 seconds. Wilson won in 2020 with a time of 1:41:13.

Second place was won by Mr Areeb Wahab with a time of 1hour 43mins. Wahab was also second in 2021, with a time of 1 hour 53mins.

CSWC Malaysia 2022 was also a historical event with female competitor entering the competition and achieving a place. Ms Nina, part of the Indonesia contingent who flew in for the event, came in third place with a time of 1hour 25mins.

Trinidad Cigar Company is hoping to organize a bigger CSWC Malaysia in future to cater to a larger group of Indonesian competitors.
