Procigar Provides a Brand New Home To Family In Need

“A Home for my Family” is a charitable initiative from Procigar. This charitable initiative was launched with the aim of improving the quality of life for workers in the industry by building at least one brand new home every year for an employee in need.

Procigar provides a brand new home to family in need (Santiago, Dominican Republic). In an emotional moment, the representatives of the Association of Dominican Cigar Manufacturers (Procigar), gifted a new home to an employee of a member cigar factory.

The ceremony was led by Henke Kelner, president of Procigar, who formally handed the keys to Marilin Caba, who works at La Aurora.

“I want to thank God, Procigar, and everyone who has contributed to making my dream possible. This gift is not only for me, but also for my family.”, said Caba as she received her new home.

This initiative is made possible through funds raised in the annual Procigar Festival auction as well as through our collaborators Espejo & Asociados, Almacenes El Encanto, and Colchoneria Yaque.
