Didier Houvenaghel’s NyB Cigars are releasing two new limited edition cigars blended and rolled in 2014 and 2015 and aged up until now. The company stated that after 2 to 3 years of aging as leaves and one year of aging as cigars, their new La Ley Reserva and Nicarao Especial Reserva 2014 are now in the most ideal condition to be released.
Didier Houvenaghel commented: ‘I created the concept of Reserva in order to respond to my increasing enthusiasm for aging cigars. It is a real passion, inside a passion. It is amazing to see how certain cigars gain quality with me and some mes the phenomenon can be tasted a er a few years only. A cigar – at birth – that will show aging poten al and that will be conserved op mally will change its aroma c pro le and show new families of aromas; developing nesse over me. I love aged cigars myself and wanted to share this with our a cionados.’
