Blended by Hamlet Paredes, under the Fabrica 5 concept which celebrates cigars’ appeal to each of the five senses, Sorella di Notte: Sister of the Night, is the first release of the new 2 Sisters marca.

Developed by Bond Roberts co-founder and head of Fabrica 5 Rob Ayala, the new cigar line pays homage to two sisters who, combined, have served the Cuban cigar industry for over 50 years.

2 Sisters was created as a tribute to Diana Ayala and Lisa Goreta, but not to them alone. The new line is also a small tribute to the brilliant women found throughout the cigar industry, from the front office and sorting rooms to the factories and fields.

“Between them, Diana and Lisa have given 50 years to the Cuban cigar industry: half a century of experience, hard work, laughter, arguments, extraordinary stories, and a genuine love of cigars,” said Rob Ayala. “Their fingerprints are on countless cigars many around the world have enjoyed over the years.”

Lisa and Diana share a love for the Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo des Dieux, and Hamlet Paredes’ brief was to not to reproduce the Le Hoyo des Dieux, but to revisit the qualities they love about the cigar and create something with an identity of its own.

“Quite fittingly, Hamlet has delivered an absolute triumph,” notes Ayala.  Measuring 6 1/8 inches x 42 ring gauge, the medium-bodied Sorella di Notte: Sister of the Night features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Honduran binder, and Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers.

“Anyone who has met Diana and Lisa will attest that they are no wallflowers, they know how to command a room. You'll find these cigars are no different,” said Ayala.

USD $10.90 PER CIGAR / USD $272.50 PER BOX OF 25
