Embajadores Fine Cigars Expanding To River Oaks

Embajadores Fine Cigars will be opening an upscale cigar boutique and lounge in Houston’s River Oaks Shopping Center, marking the company’s third retail location. Located at 2043 West Gray, between Starbucks and La Madeline; the lounge is currently under construction and expected to open late May 2018.

Similar to Embajadores Uptown Park and Westheimer locations, the River Oaks boutique will include a walk-in-humidor, retail area, and a smoking lounge complete with a state-of-the-art ventilation system. Mort Mehdi, founder and owner, states “we paid very close attention to the design of our ventilation system. We wanted to create an atmosphere for our patrons that eliminates the smoke odor and haze so that you aren’t left with your clothing smelling like a cigar”.

The non-smoking retail area will sell more than 40 premium cigar brands in addition to high-end smoking accessories such as S.T. Dupont, Brizard & Co., and Bram Warren. “We wanted the retail space to be inviting to those who were picking up a gift and not necessarily fond of cigar smoke”.

The boutique will be staffed by educated cigar connoisseurs in addition to a Tobacconist University of Princeton, Certified Cigar Sommelier. Additionally, Embajadores will offer private membership and locker program with 24-hour access to members.
