Drastic new guidelines for Tobacco & Alcohol on Facebook and Instagram

Due to a new policy Facebook and Instagram are banning sales, transfer and gifting of cigars, other tobaccos, e-cigarettes and alcohol on its platforms, including in private groups.

Furthermore companies have to restrict their pages to 18 years of age and over if there are posting content with cigars on these social media platforms. These requirements won’t be necessary for individual users. These new policies are effective since yesterday, Wednesday July 24th 2019.
