Decent C.Gars Ltd and STG Sign Distribution Agreement for United Kingdom

STG and cigar importer Decent C.Gars Ltd have signed a contract for the exclusive distribution of Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s hand-made cigar brands in the United Kingdom, including Macanudo and Don Tomás. As a consequence, these brands will be more readily available in the UK.

“This is an important step for the distribution and availability of our hand-made cigar brands in the UK. It is a combination of forces which we will be able to develop further effective April 2016.”, says STG’s Stephan Brichau. A press release states that this agreement will enable STG United Kingdom to focus more on the machine-made cigars segment of their portfolio.

Owners of cigar importer Decent C.Gars Mitchell Orchant and Guy Hancock, have 48 years of experience between them and are harmonious in the approach to the premium hand-made cigar market.

Guy Hancock states: “I am very proud to be extending our relationship with Scandinavian Tobacco Group from Ireland to the UK with my partner Mitchell Orchant. Mitchell is an acknowledged cigar expert and when he endorses a cigar brand, we all know it’s going to be a huge success.”

The new Macanudo Inspirado line will be introduced by Decent C.Gars in London on April 11th, 2016.
