Davidoff Opens New Flagship Hong Kong Store and Launches Commemorative ‘Landmark 2019’ Cigar

Davidoff recently expanded operations in Hong Kong with the opening of a new flagship store in luxury shopping destination The Landmark. The new 580 sq.ft store is 61% bigger thanthe original 355 sq.ft store which was located within the same premises.

“We are delighted to relocate our new Flagship Store in Hong Kong. The challenge in designing this unique cigar shop was to preserve the company’s history but to continue our mission to delight and surprise our customers worldwide by delivering unique brands and unrivalled retail experiences,” explained Laurent de Rougemont, Managing Director of Davidoff Asia.

The new location comes complete with a larger walk-in humidor, dedicated spirits corner and a wide range of exquisite cigar humidors, cases, cutters, ashtrays, lighters and pipes.

Since opening 20 years ago, Davidoff Landmark has become the brand’s 3^rd best-selling cigar outlet globally– with sales per square foot highest among stores worldwide. It also accounts for more than 25% of all retail store sales in Asia, from Beijing to Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Taiwan.

To celebrate, a commemorative Davidoff Winston Churchill cigar is being launched featuring a second ring marked ‘LANDMARK 2019’. A Churchill sized cigar, the LANDMARK 2019 is limited to just 300 sticks and is wrapped in a Habano Ecuador Rojiza, features a Negro San Andres binder, and consists of Nicaraguan and Dominican Republic tobacco fillers.

In Hong Kong, Davidoff also has outlets at The Peninsula Hotel and Acanta stores in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui and The Park Lane Hotel, Causeway Bay.
