CSWC in Estonia

Dmitrijs Smirnovs did it again. Like last year, the Latvian from Riga Cigar Club won the Estonian Cigar Smoking World Championship qualifier, making him the 2023 Baltic Champion.

50 competitors gathered at a restaurant in Tallinn, creating an electrifying atmosphere, and in the end the win was quite comfortable. Although Smirnovs fell about four minutes short of last year’s performance runner-up Mikä Mäkinen was distanced by 21 minutes.

“As the smoke settled and cheers resounded, it was evident that Dmitrijs Smirnovs is more than prepared for the upcoming Grand Final,” CSWC founder Marko Bilic says. “With his title defended and his skills honed to perfection, all eyes are now on the horizon as he readies himself for the ultimate slow smoking showdown.”
