CSWC in Belarus

24 seconds. That’s how close Andrey Leontiev was to reach that sought-after three hour time limit, when the Cigar Smoking World Championship came to Minsk. Just 24 seconds. Then again, he can now call himself the first ever slow smoking champion of Belarus.

The competition was organized by Epicure Cigar Club and Minsk Cigar Club and second place went to a member of the former. Sergey Galevsky has won many times before and this time he finished at 2 hours 29 minutes and 8 seconds, just about a minute ahead of fellow member, Anton Lashkov. All in all outstanding results, in other words. In fact, outside the actual competition the winner of Kazakhstan, Anastasia Arsenova, again proved her skill when she smoked for 2 hours 56 minutes and 17 seconds, six minutes more than her winning time in Kazakhstan.

1. Andrey Leontiev 2:59:36.
2. Sergey Galevsky 2:29:08.
3. Anton Lashkov 2:28:15.
