Join J.C. Newman and Hotel Haya on Tuesday, April 13, for an exclusive hands-on experience, rolling cigars and sipping cocktails.
On April 13, 1886, the newly opened Sanchez y Haya cigar company on 7th Avenue became the first place in Ybor City to roll a cigar. Soon after, we earned our nickname: Cigar City. Join Hotel Haya and Tampa’s last cigar manufacturer, J.C. Newman Cigar Co. as they team up to celebrate 135 years by showcasing the craft.
From 5-7 pm, indulge in a complimentary welcome cocktail, watch a cigar rolling demo in the Flor Fina lounge, and then enjoy a cigar in the pool courtyard. .
