Smoking Jackets for Oliva's School in Nicaragua

Smoking jacket creates awareness for Oliva’s school in Nicaragua

In order to raise money for their school in Nicaragua J. Cortèz & Oliva created a raffle where everyone choosing to donate had the chance to win a smoking jacket.

“The jacket is in the same color as the limited edition of Oliva Melanio 2019 and inside it we made a design with that label,” marketing manager, Laure Boisbouvier, says. “We sent an email to all of our clients asking them to donate and one day before InterTabac we drew three winners.”

At InterTabac two more winners were announced and they even brought in a tailor to the booth if anybody wanted their own custom made jacket. All in all ten jackets were made, so in January there will be another raffle with the remaining five.

“The idea is to make people aware of Escuela Oliva. We’ve also made a video about the project and the raffle will probably be at an event for our distributors.”
