On September 20 + 21, this year’s Vienna Rumfestival will take place at the Ottakringer Brauerei. Vienna will once again become the international hotspot for the most versatile spirit in the world for the eighth time.
Dozens of producers and exhibitors will present hundreds of rum varieties from around the world.
Since 2016, rum lovers have flocked to the Vienna Rumfestival, making it the largest rum fair in the heart of Europe. International brand ambassadors also travel to Vienna to provide exciting insights into the world of rum. At the Vienna Rumfestival, rum enthusiasts not only have the unique opportunity to discover new varieties and expressions but also expand their knowledge about this versatile spirit.
The extraordinary setup in the old production site of the brewery creates a unique atmosphere. A special highlight is the Tropical Garden with a rum cocktail bar, where creative cocktails are crafted, transporting visitors and their taste buds to beautiful vacation destinations in their minds. The Vienna R(h)um Awards will also take place, where the best rums of the year will be awarded and can be tasted on-site. Guided ‘Rumwalks’ by experts and a large food area complete the program. It’s a time for tasting, networking, laughter and celebration.
For each day of the event, guests can choose between two time slots, with a limited number of people admitted. Visitors will have a total of four hours to discover hundreds of spirit varieties, exchange ideas with experts, and enjoy the unique ambiance.
