Ernesto Pérez Carrillo presents this year in Intertac 2019 his new Inch, limited edition, a cigar with a trend format, 6 1/8 x 64, a dark layer of Havana seed, planted in Connecticut, United States, capote and Nicaraguan gut. The cigar reaches the market in boxes of 10 units and has only manufactured 20,000 cigars for all markets. It will be on sale in stores during the year 2020.
Ernesto Pérez Carrillo’s commitment to the Eurasian markets is definitive, although he wants to give it a more entrepreneurial focus, less focused on his person and more on the quality of the product, the brand and the team. “It’s good,” he says, “that we have a base and roots, but this is a company with very good people working and it’s not just me.
He is very grateful for the way in which Europe has opened the doors to his tobacco, but he will continue to grow, after Intertabac, with the introduction of his cigars in several markets in Eastern Europe and Arab countries.
In Pérez Carrillo’s opinion, the way in which the European market develops is very different from the American market, it has a more long-term approach that is very convenient for his way of working.
