E.P. Carrillo introduces the newest addition to its cigar lineup, the E.P. Carrillo Maduro. With a blend designed to strike a harmonious balance between complexity and accessibility, this cigar is sure to captivate passionados seeking a nuanced smoking experience.
The E.P. Carrillo Maduro, released in three sizes – Robusto (5×50), Toro (6×52), and Gordo (6×60) – features a Mexican San Andres wrapper on top of a binder from Honduras, with fillers from Nicaragua. The MSRP for the Maduro will range from $9.25 for a Robusto, $10 for a Toro, to $10.75 for a Gordo, each in a 24 ct. box. Pre-orders are currently being accepted, with shipments scheduled to commence in late May to retailers.
The company aims to launch six blends in the new Essence series within the next two to three years, each distinguished by their unique and notable wrappers. The first to be announced was the E.P. Carrillo Sumatra which debuted at the 2024 PCA and ships to retailers at the same time as the Maduro (the second line introduced) in late May. In the second half of 2024, E.P. Carrillo will release the third Essence line, the Honduras blend. This will be followed by the introduction of the Connecticut, Nicaragua, and Cameroon blends in the subsequent years.
The packaging is designed to modernize and simplify the shopping experience for consumers. With its inviting and modern look, the Maduro aims to put E.P. Carrillo at the forefront, keeping it simple and eye-catching on the shelves.
“I’m very excited of this particular blend, its different from anything I’ve done before in a Maduro. I encourage anyone who loves our cigars to try this one because it will also become one of your favorites.” said Ernesto Perez-Carrillo.
