{"id":77004,"date":"2026-07-20T10:07:43","date_gmt":"2026-07-20T08:07:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/?p=77004"},"modified":"2026-07-20T10:07:43","modified_gmt":"2026-07-20T08:07:43","slug":"procigar-and-partners-launch-immersive-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/de\/procigar-and-partners-launch-immersive-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"PROCIGAR and Partners Launch Immersive Experience"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Association of Dominican Cigar Manufacturers (PROCIGAR), together with the Ministry of Culture, the General Directorate of Museums, and the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration Museum, officially introduced the Immersive Experience: Santiago de los Caballeros and the Tobacco Tradition to the press.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative was developed as part of the collaboration agreement between PROCIGAR and the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration Museum, with the aim of bringing both national and international visitors closer to the historical, artistic, and cultural richness of the Heart City.<\/p>\n<p>Through Meta Quest headsets, visitors will experience four audiovisual productions highlighting the tobacco tradition as part of the Dominican Republic\u2019s cultural heritage, the murals of renowned artist Jos\u00e9 Vela Zanetti, Santiago\u2019s cultural tourism, and the historical legacy of the Restoration War, including the connection between the Monument Museum and the Capotillo Cry Monument.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor PROCIGAR, supporting this immersive experience reaffirms our commitment to Dominican culture. Premium cigars are an emblem of the Dominican Republic around the world, but they also represent history, tradition, craftsmanship, and national pride. We are honored to be part of a project that educates, preserves, and showcases the very best of our identity,\u201d said Litto G\u00f3mez, Vice President of PROCIGAR.<\/p>\n<p>For her part, Mar\u00eda Belissa Ram\u00edrez, Director of the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration, stated: \u201cPROCIGAR not only made a new experience possible for our visitors; it also contributed to preserving the very place where this history is told. Today we celebrate a partnership that protects our heritage while creating new ways to share it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The experience will remain open to the public as a permanent attraction at the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration Museum.
