The bigger product story centers on Las Ca\u00f1as, the all-Nicaraguan sweetened line that Cunningham debuted at last year’s show. What sets Las Ca\u00f1as apart from the crowded sweetened cigar category isn’t a gimmick\u2014it’s a process. Rather than treating only the cap, \u00a0the team sprays sugar water across every leaf in the blend, delivering a sweetness that holds throughout the entire smoke. That approach clearly resonated with consumers, as Las Ca\u00f1as has since climbed to the number two position in the company’s sales rankings.
