For more than 15 years, Cigar Rights of America (CRA) has advocated for the rights of premium cigar consumers.<\/p>\n
From Washington, D.C. to state legislatures and courtrooms across the United States, CRA has worked to address issues such as taxation, regulation, and restrictions that affect the premium cigar sector and its community of consumers, retailers, and manufacturers.<\/p>\n
CRA is currently inviting supporters to contribute to its ongoing efforts. Individuals who make a contribution of $50 or more will receive a limited-edition CRA Challenge Coin honoring Litto Gomez, founder of La Flor Dominicana.<\/p>\n
Litto Gomez is widely recognized as one of the leading figures in the premium cigar industry. In addition to building La Flor Dominicana into an internationally known brand, he was also one of the original founders of Cigar Rights of America.<\/p>\n
Over the years, Gomez has contributed time, public support, and leadership to CRA\u2019s efforts to protect access to premium cigars and to represent the interests of cigar consumers and the broader industry.<\/p>\n
The commemorative CRA Challenge Coin recognizes Gomez\u2019s long-standing role in the organization and also reflects the broader mission of preserving the rights and traditions associated with premium cigars.<\/p>\n
According to CRA, the premium cigar industry continues to face ongoing political and regulatory pressure, including higher taxation, tighter restrictions, and measures that could negatively affect manufacturers, retailers, lounges, and consumers.<\/p>\n
Supporters are encouraged to contribute to CRA\u2019s work and, in doing so, receive the Litto Gomez CRA Challenge Coin as a token connected to that support.<\/p>\n
