Newman Cigar Co. begins shipping First 2026 release of Diamond Crown Julius Caeser Troublemaker.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by a cigar spotted on a vintage poster, The Troublemaker is known for its complex shape and refined, aged profile.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of my longtime mentors is Rich Dolak, the vice president of operations at both J.C. Newman and Arturo Fuente,\u201d said fourth-generation owner Drew Newman. \u201cSince I was a teenager, I\u2019ve sat in Rich\u2019s office and listened to him teach me about the cigar business. Above Rich\u2019s desk hangs a vintage poster with a unique cigar shape. Three years ago, I asked him, \u2018Why can\u2019t we roll a cigar like that?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe call it \u2018The Troublemaker\u2019 because it was very difficult to make,\u201d said Newman. \u201cRich used a knife to shape a dowel to match the cigar shown in the poster above his desk. We then used that hand-carved dowel to create custom cigar molds for this special size.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause this cigar was such a pain to create, the factory has another name for it,\u201d said Newman. \u201cAs that name is not appropriate to print, it&#8217;s officially called \u2018The Troublemaker\u2019.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>This unique smoke is crafted with an Ecuadorian Havana wrapper, Dominican binder and a rich blend of Caribbean and Central American fillers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>J.C.
