In Cigar Sanctuaries, he applies that background to cigar lounges, arguing that premium smoking environments should be treated as controlled indoor systems rather than simply styled spaces where smoking is allowed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe best lounges don\u2019t fight smoke, and they don\u2019t simply try to hide it &#8211; they guide it,\u201d said Stamkos. \u201cWhen airflow is intentional and the environment is stable, the room feels calm, clear and effortless. That is when the cigar and the experience become the focus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cigar Sanctuaries, which focuses on four components: psychrometrics, particle physics, smoke chemistry, and indoor air quality, was written to address what Stamkos sees as a gap in the cigar industry: the lack of a dedicated technical resource on how indoor cigar lounges should be designed, engineered and maintained.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Topics covered in the book include smoke containment, directional airflow, exhaust strategy, odour control, climate stability, material selection, lighting, automation, maintenance and environmental reliability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI consider myself fortunate that my professional expertise and personal passion have become so beautifully aligned.
