Named after the year the Eiroa family began cultivating tobacco, 1916 represents over a century of evolution.<\/p>\n<p>The blend consists of Original Corojo and Pinare\u00f1o seed tobaccos, both grown and preserved by the Eiroa family. All tobaccos used in 1916 are aged prior to production.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I think about my role in this industry,\u201d said Santi Eiroa,\u201cmy goal is how do we bring in the next generation and keep this tradition alive for another hundred years? Cigars create memories. They create space to slow down, to sit with people you care about, and to be fully present. That\u2019s what this cigar represents to me.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy father, Christian, prefers fuller-bodied cigars yet my grandfather, Julio, leans milder. I tend to prefer something in the middle, and I often wonder what my great-grandfather, Generoso Eiroa\u2019s preference was.
