Fox is proud and delighted to introduce Ireland\u2019s first Habanos Regional Edition, the Punch N\u00e9ctares No.50, to the United Kingdom.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">An event to celebrate the launch will be held at our 19 St James\u2019s Street store on 5<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0February, when guests will be among the first people in the country to sample this unique cigar.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The cigar will then be exclusively available from James J. Fox venues (19 St James\u2019s Street, Harrods and Selfridges) for a week before being dispatched to Havana Cigar Specialists across the country by Hunters &amp; Frankau, the UK\u2019s exclusive Habanos importer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Punch\u00a0N\u00e9ctares\u00a0holds a distinguished place in Irish cigar history. Until being discontinued in the 1980s, the N\u00e9ctares were a l\u00ednea of cigars within the Punch brand, made exclusively for James J. Fox in Dublin and London.\u00a0Their popularity was such that, even years after production had ceased, they remained one of the most coveted and sought after cigars in Ireland.<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As an Irish Regional Edition, the Punch N\u00e9ctares No.50 officially debuted in Dublin on June 22, 2025, at a party hosted by Ampersand (Ireland\u2019s Habanos distributor) and Hunters &amp; Frankau.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">At the launch, Rob Fox, Managing Director of Ampersand and Director of James J. Fox said:<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"s1\"><i>\u201cFinally bringing Ireland its first Habanos Regional Edition is a moment of immense pride.\u00a0 The Punch N\u00e9ctares No.50 is a phenomenal cigar and, in reuniting the Punch brand with its legacy N\u00e9ctares line, it represents our enduring commitment to cigar culture in Ireland.\u201d<\/i><i><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The N\u00e9ctares No.50 has been blended to the classic medium bodied Punch taste and is a Magnum 50 size (6 \u00bc\u201d, 160mm x 50 ring gauge).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">They are dressed with two bands, a specially commissioned Punch band stating the name of the vitola and, for the first time, a Regional Edition band with the legend \u201cExclusivo Irlanda\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Just 1,400 Cabinet boxes (SLB\u2019s) of 50 have been made (70,000 cigars in total).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">Punch is created with a blend of filler and binder tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo zone<\/span><span class=\"s4\">\u00a0in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba.\u00a0 A<\/span><span class=\"s3\">ll\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s4\">Punch cigars\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s3\">are made \u2018tripa larga, totalmente a mano\u2019 &#8211; long filler, totally by hand.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>James J.
