{"id":73748,"date":"2025-10-09T12:13:05","date_gmt":"2025-10-09T10:13:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/?p=73748"},"modified":"2025-10-09T12:13:05","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T10:13:05","slug":"casdagli-story-continues-to-be-written","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/de\/casdagli-story-continues-to-be-written\/","title":{"rendered":"Casdagli Story Continues to be Written"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Visiting the Casdagli booth during InterTabac is never a dull experience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is not a booth where people come and go and there are lulls in the traffic of visitors; it is always, but always, heaving with humanity \u2013 and a variety of cigar characters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When I eventually drag Jeremy Casdagli away from his latest over-running engagement, he barely draws breath to tell me about news from this boutique brand which continues to attract followers in unusual places.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Casdagli Cigars <\/em>has many friends in the Middle East and the combination of interesting flavours, inspiring <em>vitolas <\/em>and a back story large enough to intrigue even the biggest history fan, means this is a brand once discovered, never forgotten. It is now present in scores of markets worldwide, from Lebanon to Iceland and beyond.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe have new lines coming out, one of which has yet another incredible story behind it \u2013 and is linked to the Casdagli family once again,\u201d says Jeremy with a trademark twinkle of the eye.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt involves Napoleon, a British Army officer called Hudson Lowe and a remarkable tale of military intelligence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The brand also launched its <em>Villa Casdagli Edici\u00f3n Limitada <\/em>at this year\u2019s InterTabac, a 53 Ring Gauge by 7.3ins cigar manufactured in Costa Rica. Only 6,000 of these cigars will be made annually.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Casdagli Cigars <\/em>has been honoured twice in recent years in the <em>Cigar Journal Trophy Awards<\/em>. This year, the <em>Villa Casdagli Line <\/em>won the Best Brand Other Award for Costa Rica.
