Hulecos is excited to unveil the latest advancements in cigar moisture control technology with the launch of the H1 device. Since the company\u2019s inception, they have been working to address the critical challenge of maintaining the ideal moisture levels essential for preserving the flavor of cigars.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Over the past two years, Hulecos has made a name for itself as the official certifier of the cigars used during the competition at the prestigious Cigar Smokers Worldwide Championship. The H1, patented device, measures temperature and relative humidity within a cigar through a precision needle, representing the first significant outcome of their rigorous research.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As they move into 2024, they are thrilled to share the findings of their latest research. Relative humidity alone does not provide a complete picture of cigar preservation, as it is influenced significantly by temperature.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The cigar is hygroscopic; its behavior regarding water in the air is particular. It is precisely the water concentration of the cigar that determines its quality of preservation and tasting. Their team has developed the HULECOS Moisture Cigar Content (HMC2) index, which offers the most accurate assessment of moisture levels specific to cigars.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The H1 is now available with cutting-edge software, operating in two distinct modes: PRESERVATION and TASTING.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In **PRESERVATION mode** inside humidor, the H1 displays crucial information, including temperature, relative humidity, and a calculated cigar moisture level, providing users with insights into the state of their cigars.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It also delivers tailored recommendations for adjusting relative humidity of the humidor based on the current temperature, allowing users to adhere to the ideal moisture content of the 70\/70 rule or adjust for personal preferences.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In **TASTING mode**, the H1 can be used outside of the humidor, measuring critical parameters of the cigars through its thin needle. This mode allows cigar passionados to test their cigars before smoking, ensuring the cigar is in perfect condition for an optimal smoking experience. The H1’s design guarantees that the cigar remains undamaged during the process.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The H1 will officially launch in December 2024, initially available through cigar lounges and retail outlets that are part of our „Hulecos Certified Reseller“ program.
