{"id":69038,"date":"2024-10-02T13:10:43","date_gmt":"2024-10-02T11:10:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/?p=69038"},"modified":"2024-10-02T13:10:43","modified_gmt":"2024-10-02T11:10:43","slug":"best-cigar-lounge-in-asia-celebrates-with-bubbles-volutes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/de\/best-cigar-lounge-in-asia-celebrates-with-bubbles-volutes\/","title":{"rendered":"Best Cigar Lounge in Asia Celebrates with Bubbles &#038; Volutes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 19 September 2024, Bertie was proudly awarded the Cigar Trophy of the \u201cBest Cigar Lounge in Asia\u201d in a ceremony in front of the \u2018who\u2019s who\u2019 of the cigar world, during Intertabac Dortmund.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Back to Hong Kong, the Cigraal team (operating Bertie) wasted no time in opening the bottles of champagne and celebrating this milestone with a crowd of more than sixty passionadas and passionados, some of them who have been coming to Bertie since its opening in 2019.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Cigar Journal trophy was handed for the second time to Eric Piras by none other than Jorge T\u00e0pies, who represents Cigar Journal in Asia.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jorge T\u00e0pies said \u201cA cigar lounge is an important place for us all; this is where you enjoy your cigars of course, but also where you socialise, sometimes work, discover new cigars, and more often than not it can become a home away from home.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Eric Piras, who operates Bertie with a loyal and dedicated team, said \u201cI am thrilled that we finally get this award of the Best Cigar Lounge in Asia; this was our third nomination, after 2020 and 2023.
