The dramatic turn of events took place at the third ever qualifier in Greece and the decision was made after a significant rule violation; the contestant was caught on film relighting his cigar.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Additionally, the contestant will be permanently banned from participating in any CSWC competitions and activities in the future, both nationally and globally. Another contestant, also involved in the breach of rules, will suffer the same consequences.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThis premeditated behavior was meticulously planned, undermining the spirit of fair competition that the CSWC upholds,\u201d the CSWC states on its website. \u201cThe decision serves as a clear message from the CSWC Judge Association and the CSWC Organization, that any unfair actions or behaviors aimed at compromising the honor of this competition will not be tolerated. The integrity of the CSWC is paramount, and the organization is committed to maintaining a fair and honorable competitive environment.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The event was held at Blends Mix &amp; Match, a restaurant in Glyfada, just south of Athens. A total of 22 smokers participated and in the end, John Intzirtzis took home the title, with Petros Katzos and John Plafoutzis claiming 2<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>nd<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> and 3<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>rd<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> place.
