{"id":65303,"date":"2023-09-25T10:27:59","date_gmt":"2023-09-25T08:27:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/?p=65303"},"modified":"2023-09-25T10:27:59","modified_gmt":"2023-09-25T08:27:59","slug":"israeli-cigarmaker-looks-to-rest-of-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/de\/israeli-cigarmaker-looks-to-rest-of-world\/","title":{"rendered":"Israeli Cigarmaker Looks to Rest of World"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Toreo Cigars of Tel Aviv has long focussed on selling its range of Nicaraguan, Honduran and Dominican cigars to locals, but is now moving further afield.<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">After an exhausting but exciting InterTabac 2023, Zafi Barzilay and son Zufi reported huge increase in cigars in general and a recognition that Toreo Cigars was now becoming more than a homegrown affair.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cWe have come a long way in a short time,\u201d Zafi told <i>Cigar Journal<\/i>. \u201cI put a lot of that down to him,\u201d he says, pointing at Frank Emmer, the long-time tobacco insider who is now <i>Toreo<\/i>\u2019s International Sales Director.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cGod sent Frank to us. His experience and contacts have changed the way this company is working.
