Every slow smoking season there are always a few qualifiers that come down to margins of less than a minute, but it’s rare to see all of the top three names finishing within two minutes. That’s exactly what happened in Spain.<\/p>\n

At the restaurant Casa Fuster Mas\u00eda Sant Cugat outside Barcelona 40 people competed for the title of Spanish slow smoking champion and it was a tight race, to say the least. In the end it was a matter of seconds when Zaquiel Mayorga became Spain’s representative in the Cigar Smoking World Championship final in Split in September. At 1 hour 53 minutes and 52 seconds he was just two seconds ahead of Manuel Seco, and 1 min\u00fate and 54 seconds ahead of Thorsten Ebers.<\/p>\n
