Gran Habano Cigars and Laws Whiskey House have teamed up with\u00a0<\/span><\/span>W. Curtis Draper<\/a><\/span> in Washington, DC to release a special limited-edition cigar. La Pareja Perfecta is a first-of-its-kind collaboration between <\/span>Laws Whiskey House<\/a><\/span> and Gran Habano to support Little Puff, W. Curtis Draper\u2019s annual charity event. The 6 x 52 toro cigar has been specially crafted to match the flavors of the whiskey barrel pick by Laws Whiskey House, which will yield only 200 bottles.<\/span><\/p>\n

The blend for the cigar was created by George A. Rico, a master blender with over 27 years of experience in the industry. The bourbon is a 4-grain (60% corn, 20% wheat, 10% rye, 10% malted barley), distilled in the summer of 2015, aged in a medium char new <\/span>oak barrel before being finished in a port cask. It was proofed back down to its original entry proof of 110 and bottled for this specific project. A once-in-a-lifetime project, \u201cLa Pareja Perfecta\u2026The Perfect Pair.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The blend of the cigar consists of a Nicaraguan Shade-Grown wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and filler from Nicaragua and Peru. Only 300 boxes of the special 6 x 52 toro cigar will be produced for <\/span>the 2023 production, with each box containing 10 cigars. The MSRP for each box will be $180 dollars.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Laws Whiskey House, founded in 2011 by Al and Marianne Laws, is an award-winning American distillery in Denver, Colorado that produces a variety of whiskies in small batches. Each batch is milled, cooked, fermented, distilled, and aged onsite, utilizing heirloom <\/span>American grains from family-owned Colorado farms. The practice of open-air, on-grain fermentation captures the essence of Colorado\u2019s terroir while the custom Vendome Copper pot-column still produces a robust, grain-forward style of whiskey that is aged in <\/span>53-gallon medium charred oak barrels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
