{"id":62747,"date":"2023-03-13T11:10:14","date_gmt":"2023-03-13T10:10:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/?p=62747"},"modified":"2023-03-13T11:10:14","modified_gmt":"2023-03-13T10:10:14","slug":"international-womens-day-in-bertie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/de\/international-womens-day-in-bertie\/","title":{"rendered":"International Women&#8217;s Day in Bertie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">International Women\u2019s Day at Bertie Cigar Lounge is now becoming a well-established celebration; and after a long Covid period, it\u2019s been a party more than a mere event this year!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The start of the evening was reserved to ladies, and was anything but girly: all enjoyed the Flor de Selva Colecci\u00f3n Cl\u00e1sica Robusto, and Flor de Selva 20 Aniversario Robusto, whether they were seasoned afictionadas or tried a cigar for the first time during the night.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This year, Bertie Cigar Lounge partnered with The Feel Good Factor, Hong Kong\u2019s hippest day spa, and a celebratory band on the foot of the cigars acknowledged the special event. The band included a hidden number on the inside which was used for the lucky draw&#8230; a lively moment.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Eric Piras said \u201cIn Bertie, we\u2019ve built a strong following of ladies; we strive to make sure women are welcome and at ease when they want to enjoy a cigar. Reversely, men should not be shy of having a pedicure or a manicure! We\u2019re very happy to have The Feel Good Factor as a partner, and help men enjoy a different experience.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Helen Barker, owner of the Feel Good Factor, was co-hosting the event, saying \u201cIt\u2019s the first time I smoke a cigar but this was too good an opportunity to pass&#8230; and I know it\u2019s definitely not my last cigar!\u201d Agn\u00e8s Ca\u00ebr-Piras from Calamansi Designs, sponsor of the event and a regular cigar smoker, was saying \u201cIt\u2019s so nice being only with ladies for once: no challenge, no competition, just fun and freedom of enjoying life!\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Meanwhile, men were patiently waiting at the door and came in not a minute later than their allowed time!
