The traditional Gala Dinner marked the last day of the 23rd Habanos Festival. In a night filled with musical attractions and dancing performances, more than 1,200 guests gathered to smoke the new releases of the Partag\u00e1s Linea Maestra.<\/p>\n

The Cuban President Miguel D\u00edaz-Canel Bermudez was among the guests that witnessed another record breaking humidor auction. And in fact, the prices of the humidors auctioned seem to have no ceiling in those new days.<\/p>\n

Since 2020 when the Cohiba humidor broke the plane of one million euros mark, being sold by 2,4 million, every year the number keep going up. This year the Cohiba humidor was sold by 4,2 million euros. This humidor was signed by D\u00edaz-Canel repeating a tradition created by Fidel Castro in the early days of the Festival.<\/p>\n

The other humidors auctioned were H. Upmann (1,8 million euros), Hoyo de Monterrey (980 thousand euros), Romeo y Julieta (1,2 million euros), Montecristo humidor set celebrating the 150th anniversary of the St. Dupont (440 thousand euros), and Partag\u00e1s (2,6 million euros). A total of 11,22 million euros were raised with all the money going to the Cuban Public Health System.<\/p>\n
