{"id":62382,"date":"2023-02-21T10:13:11","date_gmt":"2023-02-21T09:13:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/?p=62382"},"modified":"2023-02-21T10:13:11","modified_gmt":"2023-02-21T09:13:11","slug":"the-23rd-habano-festival-kicks-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cigarjournal.com\/de\/the-23rd-habano-festival-kicks-off\/","title":{"rendered":"The 23rd Habano Festival Kicks Off"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Between Monday, February 27th and Friday, March 3rd, aficionados, experts, the 23rd edition of the Habano Festival will take place in Havana, Cuba.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The 23rd edition of the Habano Festival kicks off with the opening of the trade fair with more than 270 exhibitors from 10 countries. That same night, Club Habana will host the Welcome Evening, which will revolve around Montecristo and its much-appreciated L\u00ednea Open.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Mid-week evening will take place at El Laguito Protocol Room and will feature Bol\u00edvar and La Casa del Habano. It will celebrate the brand&#8217;s 121<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>st<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> anniversary with the presentation of a new vitola.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The grand finale will be the Gala evening on Friday, March 3rd, at Pabexpo. This evening will be dedicated to Partag\u00e1s, the Habanos Awards Ceremony and the traditional humidor auction. The auction catalogue can be found at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.habanos.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.habanos.com<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/registrations.habanos.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">registrations.habanos.com<\/a>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The International Seminar will start with the Conference &#8222;The Partag\u00e1s brand as seen through Vitolfilia&#8220;, presented by Mr. Fernando Gonz\u00e1lez Garc\u00eda, President of the Cuban Association of Vitolfilia, and Ms. Zoe Nocedo, member of the Association, at the Havana Convention Center. Throughout the week, the same venue will host different masterclasses on the Habanos-making process, as well as tastings and pairings with different products.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">At the Habanos World Challenge, participants will have to demonstrate their knowledge of the different stages of Habano making and enjoyment.
