Jonas Santana, Co-founder and CEO of Blackbird tells the story. He says there was a mistake in the factory as to which tobacco was supposed to be used for a certain blend. But upon further discovery, the blend that resulted from this mistake was actually quite palatal. They had discovered a wonderful GLITCH. How often a GLITCH becomes an opportunity? There are 3 Blends with 2 Vitolas each. Claro will have an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper with a Mexican binder and filler from The Dominican Republic and the USA. The filler is the same in all three blends, but the Habano has an Ecuadorian Habano Wrapper with a Mexican binder, and the Oscuro has a Mexican San Andres wrapper with a Dominican binder. Each blend comes in a 5 x 50 Robusto for MSRP $6.10, and a 6 x 52 Toro for MSRP $6.60. Very price conscious cigars for those who appreciate good tobacco.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
What was originally a factory mistake, now dons the name GLITCH by Blackbird Cigar Company.
