He will play a fundamental role in our vision and strategic plans to scale our business, with a focus on the distributive, convenience, and alternative verticals. He will work alongside our team to further develop Tor\u2019s range of products, and the quality and efficiency of services that we offer to all our partners domestically and internationally\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>During his time as a Commercial Director (SVP) on the Global Board of STG Plc, Huw was responsible for strategic, commercial, and operational activities. He spearheaded the development and implementation of the commercial division\u2019s strategic plan and the digital innovation programme.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Previously, as their Managing Director UK &amp; Ireland, he directed the team that led to STG\u2019s outperformance of larger competitors and to claiming market leadership. He facilitated STG\u2019s EU wide compliance with \u2018Track &amp; Trace\u2019 legislation and held senior positions of Chair and Vice Chair of the UK\u2019s industry lobby group \u2018Imported Tobacco Products Advisory Council\u2019.\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel honoured to join Scott and the Tor Imports team.
