The Partag\u00e1s Legado has been launched in the UK and is now available in small quantities across the Havana Cigar Specialist network and selected hospitality venues.<\/p>\n
It has been created in celebration of the famous brand\u2019s 175th anniversary, having been established by Jaime Partag\u00e1s Ravelo in 1845.<\/p>\n
Although delayed due to the global pandemic, the cigars presented in lacquered wooden boxes are proving to be well worth the wait.<\/p>\n
In the factories of Cuba this vitola (cigar size) is known as a Hermoso No.2 and measures 6 1\/8\u201d (157mm) x 48 ring gauge.<\/p>\n
Today it is a size reserved for special releases, most recently with the Quai d\u2019Orsay Senadores (2019 Limited Edition).<\/p>\n
Legado translates into English as Legacy and, as a testimony to its founder\u2019s belief in the importance of the raw material used to roll his cigars, Partag\u00e1s still selects all its leaf from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco region in Cuba.<\/p>\n
